Hi, I’m Xiaomeng Fu.
My art and design journey began at the Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA), one of the best art universities in China, where I earned both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees. From orchestrating award-winning architectural designs to book typesetting, my academic and professional experiences have honed my ability to use both digital and traditional methods to communicate visually compelling stories.
After my studies, I spent six years at WhY-idesign, a startup architecture firm in Beijing, diving deep into architectural and graphic design and leading significant projects like the Neo Aolin Renovation. In 2023, I moved to the U.S. to reunite with my husband, which was a big change in my life. This transition has allowed me to focus more on graphic design, contributing to diverse projects, including logos, website visual design, and research figures.
My proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, 3D modeling, and hand-drawing helps me create stunning designs for both digital and print platforms. Notably, some of my research figures have contributed to successful paper publications and grant applications, including grants from DOE and NSF.
